UV-Resistance EPDM Rubber Foam Roll Thermal Insulation For Building Wall
EPDM foam sheets, also known as EPDM foam, are produced through compression molding and extrusion processes, with both closed-cell and open-cell structures. EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) boasts excellent aging and corrosion resistance, high elasticity, and electrical insulation properties, and its foam sheets inherit these advantages. They are widely used for sealing, vibration reduction, sound insulation, and thermal insulation in high-speed rail, automobiles, ships, and machinery.
Closed-cell EPDM foam, with properties closer to rubber, was initially used to replace some of the functions of pure rubber to reduce weight, energy consumption, and thus costs.
In addition to the aforementioned advantages, open-cell EPDM foam, due to its low density and open-cell structure, offers breathability and slow recovery, making it suitable for use in specialized sealing and vibration damping environments, such as seals subject to high vibration amplitudes during operation.
Available EPDM foam product sizes:
Sheet: 1mm to 45mm thick, 2m x 1m wide;
Roll: 2mm to 20mm thick, 10m to 50m long, 1m wide
