EPDM foam (ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) foam) demonstrates widespread practicality in everyday life, and its versatile properties make it crucial for a wide range of applications.
First, in the automotive industry, EPDM foam is widely used as an excellent sealing material. It is used in seals on doors, windows, and engine compartments, effectively preventing water, dust, and noise from entering the vehicle interior, improving the vehicle's airtightness and comfort. EPDM foam can also withstand the vibrations and high temperatures experienced during vehicle operation, maintaining excellent performance stability.
Second, in the construction industry, EPDM foam is used as a thermal insulation, soundproofing, and sealing material.
